Cheye Carwyn Williams Mcfarlands work, studies the possibility within the concept of a post-war world. Cheyes recent sculpture/photography studies the themes of architectural fatigue and anxiety, in the current era in which we now live in. With exploration of degradation and dilapidated fields of his home of South Wales, with the bog and remnants of his local area, Cheye takes his interest within the aesthetic politics and acknowledgement of post war Europe. With the notification and showing of a field of left landscape, or a ‘no man’s land’ Cheyes work tries to capture the sense of anxiety and destruction within, not only with the viewer at hand but within the experience of being in the space.
